In the past year, he has spoken at industry events in Atlanta, Costa Rica, Orlando, Portland, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Ryan's work has been featured in HOW Magazine (International Design Annual, 2008) and Guidelines For Online Success (Taschen, 2008). He also recently co-authored the Adobe AIR Bible (Wiley, 2008) and was a major contributor to the Flex 3 Cookbook (O’Reilly, 2008).
